Sounds like its doable if I look hard for the correct truck. Where I live (B.C) I hear they are crazy serious about staying within the numbers on the door sticker. Can't go over axle ratings or GVWR. I am unsure of what they do if they find someone over, but it sounds a little concerning if this is true. Anything done to the truck to be able to carry more doesn't matter. Truck sticker is everything. So unless I can find a truck that can carry the truck camper I have I am not legal.
What's it like in Washington State? I live quite close to the border. I guess I could just do all my truck camper usage in the US.
