- LynnmorExplorerIf I get a F350, do I need a $300,000 income?
- mx727ExplorerNo we don't. LOL
When a F450 costs upwards of $75K, it doubles as a Lexus or Mercedes. Nothing these luxury cars have over my truck other than a lack of head and leg room. - buckyExplorer IITrust me, they have a Lexus, Mercedes, or something similar they go to dinner in.
As Ford trucks are the best selling, you can probably pick any income level and still make the same statement. The numbers get diluted in the car/suv end due to the many choices available. - Army11BravoExplorer IIIt makes sense. I live in a rural part of the country with plenty of hard working farmers and ranchers. If they can afford an expensive vehicle, it likely won't be a Range Rover or Porsche Cayman. They want an upscale pickup for luxury with utility.
As far as pushing up the price of trucks, it's supply and demand. You can still get a $27,000 F150, but few of us settle for the two door work truck base model. - Sprink-FitterExplorer

At least we have an idea of who is pushing up the price of new trucks.
