Did you read the article?
Sure did. I fact let me quote the very first line:
Tesla has told users in Texas not to charge their cars during a heat wave
The OP article said this:

Until someone figures out how to double or triple the energy density of lithium-ion batteries, that seems like the most we can ask of electric vehicles that are pressed into towing duty.
Just like I said, there is a problem with the grid with just 1 to 2% of electric cars. Even Tesla knows it and they did the right thing by begging people to not charge their cars during certain times or the grid would crash.
And these are cars with small batteries. Just think what will happen if there was 5 or 10% of electric big rigs in Texas sucking off of the electric grid teat. :E
By the way. We now know why TFL didn't tow a travel trailer to Alaska.
And before anybody starts sniveling and whining let me make this reminder: This is an RV site for RV related topics. And this is the TOW VEHICAL forum where we discuss tow vehicles.
If you think this is a cool truck that will work great as a people mover......cool.......go to a soccer moms dot com forum and you will more than likely be welcomed with open arms. Home Depo forums would work with this truck too.
Remember, this is a tow vehicle form where we discuss vehicles that tow. This truck is an "epic fail" at towing, so be it. Same way if someone came on this forum and said they want to tow their new 30 foot travel trailer with their 2022 Corvette I'm going to say, bad idea and your car will suck at towing.
I'm not saying a 2022 Vett sucks. I'm saying it sucks at towing......just exactly like this truck.
