Mounting Edge CTS for 2007-2009 Dodge Ram?

I'm looking for a good way to mount an Edge CTS. Looked at Edge dash mount but seems kinda flimsy especially their method of sticky tape to hold.

Edge also has a mount that fits a 2 1/16" pillar pod. Anyone try this? Suggestions for pillar pod to use with it?

I've also seen custom pillar pods made for the Edge CTS. Any particular brand that anyone has used that they can recommend?

Other ideas?

The CTS slides right on it. However, due to the position I placed it in, as I recall, I think I had to flip the base around 180 degrees to get the angle for the mount that I needed so that the CTS monitor points toward the driver.

I put my gauge with controls for my onboard compressor in the driver's pillar

  • I have a 2004.5 Ram. I didn't want my CTS monitor visible to anyone walking by, and I live in a hot climate, so didn't want it in the sun. So I mounted mine to the right of the steering wheel, down near the bottom of the dash, but still very visible to the driver. I used the following mount: Clicky .. It's very secure.

I'll try to take a pic and post it later.
  • I have the dash mount with the sticky tape in my 03 3500 and it works very well. I have not had any issue with it. I like it much better than the suction cup and it looks better.
  • Don't they make a pillar pod specific for your vehicle? I know they do for the 2015.
