It does seem to be the luck of the draw. Two winters ago we had no mice. Last winter they held their annual "Mouse Fest" gathering in the kitchen sink!!!
There was no damage or nesting but there also was no food left in the TT.
I store my TT in the backyard and plugged all holes I could find. I did have the TT plugged in so perhaps they liked the warmth of the phantom circuits.
I used enough dryer sheets to make a decent mouse bed but again no nesting. Of course we were on the road by the spring breeding season.
This year I an going to try the various mouse repellants and unplug the TT rather than power the phantom loads.
Time will tell.
