Moving from diesel to gas...
Anyone downgrade to a gasser after running diesel for years regret it? Keeping my Dodge, but may look at a smaller trailer (less than 6,000), only pulling a few months a year, and commuting about 20,000 each year; not to save cash, as vehicle cost far outweighs whatever fuel I may burn in the Ram, but for comfort and ease of driving. I like my Dodge but, honestly, it's a bear to live with everyday and tow (noisy, rougher ride, hard to park, $150+ fillups), and a half ton would be much more to my liking (addresses all the negatives, plus less/cheaper maintenance, cheaper wear items such as tires, etc). The only downside is longevity; the Cummins will outlast the truck, and very few gassers last over 500,000 before calling it quits; not sure I'll ever get close to that, but you never know.
