4 years ago took me over a year to sell 2000 F250 4x4 supercab with 7.3 in perfect mechanical condition and decent cabin.
It had over 300k thought. Still KBB $9k private sale and I sold it below 4k

Ignore the KBB and Dealer asking prices on your truck in the Bay Area and go by Craigslist. I am not certain why you don't think Dually sell well here because I see a lot of them on the freeway all the time. Maybe not as much as in Texas, but they aren't a rare sight. I spent months trying to find a decent 7.3L low mileage dually 4x4 in the Bay Area and it was a nightmare. Dealer's were consistently demanding $18k to $26k and wouldn't even entertain lower offers. They practically laughed when I cited how they were twice the KBB prices.

Private party had better pricing but I think most was still quite above KBB. The 6.0L does have some detractors however from what I understand, with the right parts you can make it into a rock solid engine. Since you are selling your truck you probably don't want to mess with it but there are plenty of people that will for the right price.

As far as moving the camper, I have to agree that finding a storage yard might be the cheapest solution. However, if your selling your place, why not stipulate in your sale that you can keep the camper on the property for three months or so? As long as it's out of the way if someone absolutely loves the property they will ignore the minor inconvenience of having to store a camper for a couple of months.

I was lucky. The day after I brought home my 5500, the F250 sold.

We visited Delta Shores on one of our trips out to the Mojave and enjoyed the change in scenery but found the area is plagued in power problems - Invest in a good surge suppressor or power conditioner if you plan to stay for an extended period of time.

Lot of assumptions so I try to answer whatever I can.
-I live in the center of Bay Area, but in mountains on .6 acres of wooded land. Back in 1930's that property was vacation resort for people from Richmond. (freeways to Lake Tahoe did not exist, nor the tunnels)
-I think the campground I found on Duck Island is the best option in 300 miles radius. I don't want to stay on desert 150 miles from our friends and our favorite Sierra spots -200 miles away are closed for the season.
-It is not moving the camper to campground that is main problem as I can hold the truck for 3 weeks, but having confirmation for only 1 month, I might have to move the camper in February and that is big concern if I find truck buyer in January
-dualies have almost no demand in Bay Area. Not much of private business going on here that would want older Superduties, while trucks bought for recreation are mostly SRW crew cabs. Dealers offer me $4k for it, even BB gives it $9.3 trade-in value.
-6l is not the best engine to sell so I assume I might need all the time I can get to find private buyer for it.
-the whole idea of getting rid of old truck immediately after getting new one, or before is that we are waiting here just for new truck. Once I set camper on new truck, we are targeting Florida with +- 3 months to get there.

I am 62 coming from long-living family, so should not have a problem to spend next 20-30 years on traveling, meaning I can't plan on blowing money "the house made" in next 10 years.

Well that's what it sounds like.
My takeaway.
Selling house, going to live in camper, selling old truck before new truck arrives. Actually know the date (weird?) it needs to be moved even though you don't know when the house is gone or truck arrives.
Maybe missing something, but sounds like you're asking for a future random, significant favor from a bunch of folks you don't know.
Solution, move your camper while you have a truck to a storage facility (not a campground that costs more than house rent as you put it), or keep the old truck til the new one arrives.
Or short answer, no I don't know anyone in the Bay Area.

I have to hand it to all those folks that are the real heroes because I do not know how you folks can live in the big city. There are a lot them. I'm an escapee and therefore have to hand it to all those that have decided or figured a way out of extreme tolerance or whatever, to be able to live there.

I wouldn't sell the truck till the camper gets home. Selling the truck in the Bay area means getting a higher price for it. Right?

The closest one is like 30 miles other direction, so to move my camper 30 miles, they would have to drive well over 100 miles, so I am afraid that is not going to be cheap assuming they will do it with no liability concerns.
I will check it on Monday anyway, so thanks for suggestion.
