Differrent people have different priorities for recreation/vacations. To those of us here, it's worth it. Others will spend more on vacations flying to exotic parts of the world. Even a few days at a Disney resort cost more than a 3,000 mile trip with my truck & trailer. I thank God I can affoard a truck and trailer to enjoy. Many can't. I know that gas/diesel prices can, and do spike up now and then, but did you know that the current average price adjusted for inflation isn't much more than it was 30 years ago? So no, it doesn't change my plans a bit.
