My camper is in the river now

In Minong, WI, by the Totagatic River.

Any advice on negotiating with the insurance company. I described the damage to them and they said it's almost always a total loss in that situation. The camper is not accessible at the moment for an adjuster to get there. They said they just need someone to take pictures.
  • and do NOT forget the things on the rear of trailer..
and everything in the storage compartments.

make a LIST of everything damaged or lost. and keep a copy for yourself.

best of luck with the insurance company.. and DO NOT take there first or second offer. Be Nice.. but say NO.
  • I guess it really depends on your coverage. Were you using it when this happened? Please post back with the outcome. My coverage included full replacement with the current model year if the TT suffered a complete loss for 5 years. This is the last year...

You can look up the value yourself on NADA
  • I would guess a total loss as water is obviously covering the floor inside. just figure on a reasonable replacement cost/value, depending on age, original cost, etc.
    sorry about the bad luck.
