For the OP, how much water is in your fresh tank? Do you drive with empty black/Grey? My AF has moved one time. Very bad Highway joints near Oakland, CA caused movement. It also rides on plywood, no rubber (wasn't necessary).
The camper is completely dry-not a drop of fresh or waste water.
My dually rides HARD compared to any other truck I've had (I have Stable Loads and air bags under it, and with the camper in it actually rides better, but still quite hard). Sharp bumps make the truck "jump" at the back end, even with Rancho 9000X adjustable shocks.
My Lance used to move around, too, but not so much in such a short time.
The back end has no side-to-side wiggle-room so stays put, but the campers are narrower than the wheel-wells, and certainly much narrower than in front of the wheel wells, so the front end is free to move if the forces are great enough, and I suspect the rough ride causes the camper to shift a mm or two at the front end on every bump, and over hundreds of miles, they add up.
I am hoping the wood rails shown will keep it in place once I have help to unload the BigFoot and re-load it w/ the rails.
Unlike my Lance (electric jacks), the BF has individual hydraulic pump jacks which are best used by 2 people at once. I do not like them much, to be honest, but that's a whole other matter. The rest of the camper I like a lot..
