I was skeptical of mine at first too. Our Camry was consistently off by about 2 mpg. I've checked several tanks with this truck and it is generally within a couple of tenths, sometimes showing better, and sometimes worse than by hand calculation. I'll probably check again occasionally, but mostly I believe my truck anymore.
