I've tried all the various ideas, tape lines, chalk on the floor, lasers,and this one seems easiest for me. Try it--keep your receipt for the pipes-- and if you don't like it,take the pipes back and get your money back.
If you have an 8' truck bed, maybe you can get12' pipes. Or just pull the inside pipe out a little further.
Did I mention, if when you're backing up and fail to notice you're going crooked, the pipe will hit the back of the camper and just be pushed in a little further.
I am willing to text anybody pictures if they want them,although the camper is on the truck right now out in a storage unit.
