For the TV I used a sliding door security lock; it's the pin type where you drill a hole in the door and the pin screws into the door (bought it at home depot). The mechanism is mounted vertically and the tv mount arm swings over the top of it and the pin screws up into a hole that I drilled in the arm.
The subwoofer is mounted to the ceiling behind the sony deck in the cabinet enclosure. I just realized that I said it was a 10"; it's not, it's an 8" and has it's own amp built it. It's really pretty impressive for it's size:
