Some thing that also makes it safe on those steps is a hand rail from tork lift. I have one for my Bigfoot & it sure made a difference especally before I had my hip replaced this spring. I had a friend build me a small deck 22"x7' I put my inflatable poontoon, firewood or my Honda generator on it along with the hitch haul underneath it gives us alot more storage.
