I figured that I had two options... Expensive quality paint or cheaper paint with easier touch up capability. Since I wasn't sure how the paint would adhere and remain on the Filon combined with the fact that I am really putting lipstick on a pig, I opted for the more thrifty 8 cans of Ford Gray Rust Stop paint. I'm about $40 into the paint after tax and can always have a can on hand for touch ups.... BTW... My plan B should I get tired of the Filon is to buy two more sheets of aluminum powder coated in gray and replace the remaining top sections of Filon.
