Ah ok. That might work ok for sticking to your Filon.
I had terrible luck getting regular spray can paint to stick to aluminum though. The aluminum I painted with true automotive 2 part epoxy primer and paint is perfect. The aluminum panels I put in when we changed refrigerator design were painted with spray can paint and in about 4 months the paint popped off in big flakes.
I did paint some steel with spray can paint and it has held up well (if you don't scratch at it). The aluminum though is just awful to paint with anything but 2k.
