Figure out what you can tow first. Quality- most are built cheap. Lance and artic fox have been known to be good quality brands. Keystone seams to be in the middle and Coleman on the lower end, IMO. Condition is critical when buying used. A leaky roof will cause the floor and walls to rot. When it rots, the floor becomes soft. When the floor is soft the trailer is basically junk (unless you can rebuild it). So, a trailer that has a soft spot is typical half price of what a solid trailer would be. It doesn't take long for a leak to cause damage. A two year old trailer could need to be rebuilt! Remember to budget $400-$800 for a hitch system, plus an brake controller.
