~ 6,000LB dry trailer = game on. I'm a big fan of the Coyote V8, best kept secret in a gas engine. It brings "the mostest for the leastest..." Think about it, 380 ft/lbs of torque out of a 5.0 naturally aspirated. It's quite remarkable. My Ford 5.8L Windsor was at the top of it's game with fuel injection, hydraulic roller lifters etc. and it only has 325 ft/lbs torque.
Put that bad boy to work, check with the dealer about a gear change if you want to be more comfortable towing in the mountains.
