One other thing I forgot to mention is I need to replace the 5 marker lights. The red 3" on center mounted type at top back of trailer. Whoever put them on broke every mounting plate(cracked the plate with over-tightening the screw).
Some had a 1/4" thick foam back adhered to them, others had nothing. Do they come with this backing on them? Do I use anything on the back or just screw it to the trailer then caulk around it? I think I would like to use the butyl as a backing and then caulk around them also...
