- kw_00ExplorerI kinda like the 6.0...... So no issues there for me, although I agree that the 6.2 will be a nice fit in the future if it's rated for true HD use. It's not uncommon to see the same engine line go into a new design for a year or 2.....so we will see. Still keeping my 09 though really enjoy this truck.
- FordloverExplorerThe duramax makes plenty of power, no need for improvement there. But the same old 6.0 HP and torque? That is disappointing unless you are a GM fan boy.
- I got to say the front grill and bumper on the Chevy looks terrible.
- Gray_FoxExplorerA friend of mine has a 2008 F450 Diesel, He is leaving for Florida for Jan & Feb Should he take the 2 battries out or leave them in. What will happen??

Says the Ford fan boy.
I have to ask, have you ever driven a GM 6.0?
I tow regularly with an older 300hp/360tq version and it continues to impress me. No disappointment here. - Engineer9860Explorer

And from now on every time you pull on to the highway your rear view mirror will be filled with the image of that terrible grille. - MARK_VANDERBENTExplorerThat stout 6.0 backed with a 410 and 6 speed trans is one nice dependable set up. Many out there that are towing heavy ! If you have never driven one, you should !! even to this date they put that 6.0 up against fords 6.2 and ram hemi, and it hangs right with them!! Hey if ford can have the same super duty body since 99 with some face lifts, GM can keep a good thing going too !
- TargaExplorerI honestly have not been able to take my eyes off this truck since this thread started, the more I look at this redesign the more impressed I am. I'm with ya Dadoffourgirls, the interior is growing on me as well.

That's actually a scary caption!
But again seeing the new Chevy front end is a disappointment. Maybe it will look better in person.MARK VANDERBENT wrote:

I think it's about time Chevy retired the center bar on the grill and go to something different. Heck even their car's got the center bar treatment, but the latest models have now changed.
