LINK Wow a huge increase of 700 lbs more more tow rating than the gasser for almost $4k. Glad I didn't need the diesel option :W

And giving up 125 hp vs the gasser, the diesel will probably be slower in the hills... having said that, I think the Colorado diesel might be attractive to me for a daily driver that gets about the same mpg that my gas VW Passat gets, with some modest hauling and towing ability to boot. I would think that anyone who needs to tow anywhere near 7K would be looking hard at a full size pickup.
