New Addition to the Barn
Or should I say it's a new project?
We are taking care of aging Mom's presently, but we do get out and RV every chance we get. We also are avid Harley folks, I've been riding for over 40 years and have close to 750,000 miles on one, and my wife has been a passenger with me since we met. Recent events and constraints left us without a bike, so I fixed that issue today.
I'm an officially a gear-head, motor-head, hot-rodder. Well lets just say I'm into gas and oil. Being afflicted with this disease, I tend to get VERY antsy when I don't have a project to wrench on. Our old manager didn't care to much what you did as long as you didn't get the neighbors mad and your house looked good. The "new" manager is a rules stickler (except if it pertains to her) and technically the park doesn't allow any mechanical work to be done in the driveway. So I built the largest shed/shop allowed and have a place to work on stuff.
The new project....1987 HD FLHTP that was in an accident. The bones are good and straight...the rest not so much! I signed another year long contract with the base so I will have time to get it back on the road. This is gunna be fun!!!
