As far as adding more fluff and bells and whistles: You can keep it. I wanted a truck with capability first and am glad they still offer the XL and Tradesman trims for people like me.
The Ram Box is a great use of space until you want a canopy. If you can figure out how to clamp one down, it will block access to that storage. I think it's a idea that needs to be revisited with access from the side instead of the top.
