I like Ford as much as the next guy, but I see the F450 pickup as just a ploy to make the Ford pickup line look as though it has an extra class, when in reality it's in the same class as Ram and GM. They are banking on people being drawn by the meaningless F450 badge and not really looking at the specs.
The really ironic thing in all of this is that both the Ford and Ram commercial cab and chassis have less hp and torque for duty cycle purposes and therefore lower towing capacity than the pickups.
