First camping trip with the new Bullet was a complete success.
Went to a nearby private campground on a lake - very nice place. Almost more like a resort than a campground - pool, boat slips, canoe rentals, etc. Flat concrete pads with 30 & 50 amp power, sewage, water & cable hookups.
Everything worked perfectly on the camper - no issues at all. I'll attribute that to both the brand and the dealer - very impressed with both.
One of our favorite things turned out to be the outdoor kitchen. The grill hooked up to a bumper mount and swung around to be right next to to the pull-out kitchen. So convenient to cook everything outside. Kept all of the grease smells and heat outside.
Now we have a big list of 'stuff' we have to add for convenience. Things like placing towel hooks, toilet paper holder....
Only thing we weren't completely happy with was the master bed. It was like sleeping on a rock - hardest mattress I've ever seen. Must add some kind of mattress topper ASAP. Anyone have any ideas on that? Best material to get, etc.
