When (and if) you read the whole document, in the end it states that Nitrogen does 'leak' through tire walls slower than pure air. Is it worth paying for? that is up to the individual. My truck has the factory TPMs and they would set off the indicator with just about every major temperature change (no, I did not have a slow leak in one. The pressure decreased evenly in all four). So, when I had a new set of tires put on I decided to try the Nitrogen to see how it would do. So far (about a year now) the TPM has been set off only twice. That is much less than before.
