A wire mesh was installed, the pour was to be an average of 4", there was a base put down, but how thick I do not know. The expansion joints were done by the finishers, don't look to be more than 1/2" deep at best.
Also did some rough weight calculations.....
It is looking a lot better now, you should be fine.
