I'm a concrete man of 35 years. I agree with everything that has been said. There three major facts about your situation. First is a good base for the concrete, second is the psi of the concrete you use, and third is whether you installed wire mesh or rebar in the concrete. Who ever did your drive, if he did not tell you he should have that to go to a 4000 mix should have only cost you an extra $3.00 per yard at the most. Also on any slab you should saw cut the slab within 24 hours 1/4 of the thickness of the concrete and after 24 hours you should saw cut the slab 1/3 of the thickness of the concrete to control cracks that do ac-cure. Hopefully you will be ok with the 3000
I'm not a concrete guy but what Dennis wrote lines up with what I know from when I poured my pad beside my garage for our TC, cargo trailer and utility trailer. My concrete contractor indicated the proper base, a minimum 30 day cure period before really heavy loads and cutting the stress cuts within 48 hours while the concrete is still "green/wet" are very important. I do not know what rating the cement was prior to our pour. The longer you go without problems, the less likely it will be you will have any.
