new Escalade as TV
I just bought an escalade esv. it is new and has the 6.2l with 420hp and 460tq. It also has the 8 speed transmission. Has anyone used this setup or the yukon xl for towing a camper? Thank you.

I know a few towing with Suburbans and Excursions that state they have a decent towing experience but they are not towing at their max capacities. No matter the tow vehicle, towing at max or over is not an ideal towing experience. A quick online search indicated payload capacity roughly around 1500#, with everything in your Escalade subtracting from that amount which is why someone asked about what you intend to carry onboard your new Caddy while towing. Many half-tons have impressive towing capacities but never even get close to towing that much, check your driver door jamb for label indicating payload. That is a sweet ride and there are plenty of TT's available that would make for a good towing combination.
