Anyone bought one of the new Ford Expeditions with the V-6? Tow ratings are great but can a 6 really pull a TT GVW of 8,000lbs? Even with all the technology turbo boosting and eco enhancing it seems...

The engine/trans has been used since 2011 F-150 with tow ratings up to 12k-ish pounds. Real world owners love the power and performance.
Despite 8500-9000 pounds tow ratings in the Expedition, you'll hit payload/GVWR or receiver limits at a much lower weight TT, under 7k I bet. So estimate your family's weight while towing, subtract from available payload, and the rest is for loaded TW.
