Do you prefer a single or dual rear wheel truck? (With a dually you are dragging around a bit more weight and they don't fit into parking spaces all that well...but you can carry a lot more weight) Diesel or gas? (Diesel's are louder, eat up part of your potential payload because of their weight and once in BC I almost ran dry because both of the gas stations in a long stretch that carried diesel were closed, and it ain't cheap, they cost quite a bit more up front....but you get better longevity, better mileage, higher resale) Then do you want slides or not? How much time will you actually spend in the camper? Just for sleeping and a rainy day refuge? Or a small apartment? These are questions you might not even know at this point but they would help narrow your choices.
