In 1900 a lot of well educated people thought that heavier than air flight was impossible. In 1942 "experts" from the Air Force side of the Army advised the U.S. Navy that the supersonic flight required for bunker busting bombs to work was impossible. You sound a lot like those guys. The Navy built the bombs and destroyed the submarine pens without their help. Sometimes you just need a positive attitude and some time. Sometimes we fail but that even that doesn't prove it is impossible. How many times did Edison fail in his efforts to make the light bulb?
By the way, Ford is talking about making a small pickup based on the Focus. The Model 3 is doing very well right now and would probably make a better platform. That would be a small step but as the Chinese proverb says "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".
If you think this truck is a valid idea, I'm sure you've proceeded to sink some money into it. I think EV's are possible, but whether they ever reach widespread use remains to be seen.
But this truck, which is the focus of this thread BTW, is not really very credible. Too many claims, some of which are pretty far-fetched by anyone's standards.
Have you invested in this truck, which you are defending so vehemently?
So unless someone invests money in this particular company, their advocacy means nothing?
Whatever.
