I've always thought the same thing about buying new. My ideas are a little different than that now. Buying new is fun, yes a great loss, but I'm not really concerned with that. I've had my current 5th wheel for 15 years. The next purchase will be my last one, more than likely. So, buying new, knowing that I'll have it for more than 15 years, is not a big deal. If I spend $35K today, I'll probably sell it for about $3000 when I'm done with it.
If I can find a 5th wheel, used, that fits my needs I will of course go for it. I'm getting tired of looking. :)

Yes, things got out of hand and off topic some. Don't know the details of your current tv but if it'a a gasser get a LIGHT one. If it doesn't do the job you may upgrade the tv later if you desire. Buying any new trailer has it's risks. I would not do it. Find one a year or so old @ a much cheaper price. Most of the bugs should have been addressed under warranty. I have had 3 toyhaulers & 1 TT. Never bought a new one. Or a truck either. I refuse to take that big loss off the dealer's lot just for the new vehicle SMELL. Just my opinion.
