New lawsuit against Cummins/FCA
A class action suit has been filed against FCA/Cummins over diesel engines in the 2500/3500's. TFLTruck, this link explains better Filed July 3rd. Looks like the reflash kills fuel mileage.

In this particular case ram and cummins are busy suing each other like that's going to fix the problem.
Actually that is not totally the case. Ram and Cummins are suing each other on who is going to pay for it in the end, but are conintuing to work together to resolve the issue in the mean time.
"Cummins reported that while the two companies are disputing over financial responsibility of the recall, they are working “collaboratively to resolve an issue with a third party after treatment system purchased by (Fiat Chrysler) as quickly as possible on behalf of our customers,” Cummins spokesman Jon Mills said."

The case with the Ecodiesel was additional programming added to the ECM that was not disclosed at the time of certification.
