Not having a basement keeps the height down but limits the size of the tanks. We could not use this setup unless mostly on hookups.
After looking at the triple slide Host Mammoth and Eagle Cap 1165, I definitely like the open space and couches these offer. Too many of the TC's remind me of narrow galley kitchens.
I think there is a demand for this style of TC and those guys on the east coast that have beaches allowing only certain types of vehicles will benefit, but it will be taxing most OEM SRW rim and tire capacities once loaded for camping.
Having 4' of overhang will require a serious hitch if you are towing. some of the guys getting away with lighter hitches and short extensions will have to start looking at SuperHitches.
