I suppose not having a basement has certain advantages, but this would worry me: "Our grey and black tanks are only about four or five inches tall and forty-five inches long." I always hated dumping those types of tanks that are common on Travel trailers. Has to be sloped toward the drain or it's impossible to get everything out of it. Fresh water tanks that are like that are worse because it has to be level below 1/3 tank or so or the water won't pump out.
