Dropping the truck off with the old timer on Wed. and he thanked me for the business. He assured me it will not make the noise when he is done and said he is going to prove all the other shops wrong. He believes he already knows what is wrong. I told him I want him to diagnose it before he does the transmission and he said he would never just do the job without doing that. He is pushing 80 so not moving fast. I told him he can have the truck for 3 or 4 weeks if he needs to. It is just sitting in my driveway now anyways. I wish I could have located him sooner.
