- In as much as the EPA just imposed an 11 million dollar fine on FCA for their eco-diesel fiasco, they need to do some creative advertising. Like VDub, they get to learn not to cheat on emissions.
- ^ Hope you're right, but that's a big 1 year gain. I'd imagine they'll play the game of bumping just enough to beat the current advertised torque leader, maybe set it right at 1000ft lbs and save more of the "bragging rights" for future years.

Makes 100% sense and it should come out this year in advance of the purported 10speed from GM.
Either way, makes no difference at this point who's truck you buy if you want insane stock diesel power. They all blow the doors off of 10 years ago. - I was told up to 10% increases HP and 20% in TQ but who knows. Bottom line it will be a BIG deal with the clean engine and emissions under the truck.

I believe they are talking about pickup truck engines here, not 13-15 liter engines.
