Congrats on the new record for the shortest living thread Ric, this ONE only lasted like 9 hours shattering Andy's 12 hour record :B
I might mention Ric also hold the highest non sticky post count that I know of, thanks to Ben, Larry and ninebikers :R
Interesting part is, well it's the same subject.
Just me but I would have given it a little more lead before the dreaded closed sign came out :W
Rick
I am not a bit surprised that the thread was closed...the Ford Fan Boy's had to pound the thread with misleading commentary and even name calling..but they succeeded in getting the thread closed down
To those who only gleaned the fact that the poor OP on that sad thread was out of miles for warranty missed the real point. At the risk of upsetting them again, it's about the poor HPFP design and Ford's unwillingness to acknowledge the same facts that every other manufacturer with Bosch CP4 pumps has recognized.
...and to the poor soul who still thinks there was water in my fuel...there was none...not one drop was found by the dealer that eventually fixed the truck.
...and then we have the Blue KoolAid king showing up to post completely irrelevant information regarding GM failures. He does not understand the difference between CP3 and CP4 pumps. For his benefit...the CP3 pump can fail...but it does not take out $10,000 worth of collateral damage parts without warning like the CP4
It is likely the thread closing specialists will attack and try to close this one too...
Tigers won...Fielder hit a 3 run homer to win the game...
