At one point, I had a 1' wide stack of plastic drawers, that where about 3 drawers tall. However most of the cabinet was taken up with the drawers, not much storage inside them. So I started stacking all the clothes in the bottom of my closet. It works fairly well. Or you might want to use duffel bags for the personal items, just pull out the daily needs and put it back.
It is always best to have a full set of dishes, utensils, and all the other things needed for camping in the RV. I keep in cinnamon, pepper, salt, baking soda, vanilla, and other things I might use for cooking.
