New Travel Trailer....Outback 323BH

Good day,

We are looking to trade in our small TH for a larger trailer....an Outback 323BH.

We have looked at quite a few BH types, but am attracted to this one b/c of the 50 amp service and the ability to have a second A/C.

Any thoughts on this Keystone brand? I have been doing quite a bit of looking online, but cannot really find a lot of folks who have commented on it. I am sure anything will be leaps and bounds better than this Fleetwood TH we currently have...
  • We have been in ours, full time, for 7years now. It hasn't been trouble free, but we are happy with it.

I always ask Outback owners if they are happy with their unit. I have NEVER had someone say they did not like it.
  • Thanks for the info, even the Outback/Keystone forums did not have a lot of folks with this particular model....I am guessing it is a newer floor plan, or folks are using it so much they don't have time to talk about it.. :)

Love the trailer, the layout the features. It's a mid level trailer, no corian countertops SS sinks etc. but what is in it is very functional and has held up very well. Even two Grandkids haven't been able to do any damage.

IMHO outback designers must have at least used a TT. Would have liked to have a bigger AC unit, 13.5K BTU and 35' is getting pretty marginal.

Problems: One. alloy wheels got white spots under the clear coat near the end of the one year warranty. took about two weeks for the dealer to get replacements under warranty.

yes, there are things I would have done differently as personal preference, but nothing is a "why in the heck did they do that??"
  • Check out outbackers.com .....

We have a Outback 277RL (our second trailer), and love it. Every manufacturer has advantages and disadvantages, but our trailer seems to be a good value for the price ....
