Just because he didn't know how to set it up don't hold it against Ram would be my guess. I see Fords and GM's dragging butt all the time and am always checking for their WDH...or not on smaller trailers. I cringe upon occasion and wonder what they are thinking when they can't see over their hoods. And up here in Montana, I see probably a hundred set ups every day.
I was thinking the same thing. Saw a 3/4 ton draggin tail with an average size trailer. Poor setup doesn't mean the truck isn't capable...
Agreed, totally could have been, probably was, a poor setup. However, the coils don't help when towing or hauling heavy. They're not a deal breaker, as I stated above, I think, rather just not the best application. Sometimes simpler is better.
Oh and that truck I mentioned, looked like a dog with worms in the back yard!
