I like BenK's post, I am a bit like his thought process. I just gave up my 20 year old C1500 that I got tired of putting in money into and wanted a bit more power but did not want to spend money on a brand new truck, at least at this point in life.
I was targeting a 2010-2013 models, Ford, found this 2011 Ecoboost Lariat and like you I love the leather, heated/cooled seats and with Max Tow Package (3.73 gears baby!).
I figured I can have all my creature comforts for my 18 hour trip to Florida and yet not have to buy a new truck.
Maybe when I retire I will do a 3/4 ton close to new.
