- ScottGNomadWith my luck, I'd get to the CG and find out my trailer really isn't there.
- wnjjExplorer IIHow long before someone with that system changes lanes on top of a car since it looks like they don’t have a trailer? Maybe the lane change warning system will respond.

If your car still has side and rear view mirrors i don't think thats an issues. - RCMAN46Explorer

How about looking at the videos that have been posted. I think you will see this system is far superior to anything else that is currently available. - wnjjExplorer III have looked at the photos in the link and what I saw was mostly roadway & other vehicles showing behind your truck. If there were a car there and someone got in the habit of using that screen I could see how they might treat it like a rearview mirror which only shows a car in the next lane "behind" them. I'm sure the system is much smarter than can be inferred from a couple of pictures and I was mostly trying to be funny. It's pretty tough to forget about your trailer anyway.
Having the ability to know someone is in your trailers' blind spot is far better than not.
For the record, I think the system is cool. - wrgrs50sExplorerNothing more than a picture in picture monitor from a trailer mounted camera.

Depends what the driver is relining on. I only use rear view camera when in a tight spot, otherwise still rely on the standard side view mirrors. - GrandpaKipExplorer IIShoot, I don’t even use the backup camera on the truck for anything other than hitching up.
It is pretty neat, but it’s also just one more thing to take your eyes off the road.
