The used F-450, it is probably more the "Asking" price, not what they are willing to accept Tell them you have a deal on a new GMC, and they will probably drop their price by $5,000 or so to make the sale. You don't have to be honest with the truck dealerships, tell them you are getting the new one for $4,000 less than your actuall offer. See what happens.
If the F-450 is 4 wheel drive crewcab and has a actual pickup box, it is really a dressed up F-350 dually, and not the 19.5" that the cab and chassis dually is. Just the F-450 insurance will be really expensive unless you find a RV specific insurer, who knows it will not be used as a tow truck or other commercial puropse. Tow trucks and taxi cabs are the most expensive to insure vehicles around.

I have a 1999 F550 with a pick up bed. I insure it thru State Farm. Advised it will not be commercial use and they insured as a personal use truck. Same with the state of Az registration. Advised personal use. Required commercial plates due to plates but did not have to pay commercial registration fee.
