Oh , and i had the 5.7 i think.
Good review (post above this), but you need to preview your post, before posting. :)
Now in this post, you say "i think". It would appear you owned the Sierra for 8 yrs, and unsure of what engine it had? I am not a GM guy, but I'm pretty sure it was a 5.3 (ICBW).
Anyway...carry on, don't mind my nit picking! :C

Your right, thats why i said i think. Lol. It wasnt bought for towing, that came later. But it did have like an 8000 lb tow rating. And at 5500 or so was not fun to tow. I know people say that it was fine, and i do it all the time. But the fact is that it was a dog towing. I even got better suspention and tires. Helped a bit but not enough to make towing not a chore. While it can be done, its not fun. The 6.6 gasser is fun to drive, and tow, just dont expect good gas millage. But it does get better mph towing. I get 14 mph now towing, before i got 10 to 12. I get 14 to 18 otherwise, but I tend to drive faster then most. The back up camera on thr tailgate is spot on for lining up the hitch and it automatically puts the parking break on for you so you dont roll out from under the hitch. Other niceties of the newer ride is it has a camper test feature that cycles through the lights and bliners. So ,no need to put a weight on the break pedal to see if the lights are working.
