new tt due in end of month, but still waiting for hitch

thanks for the replies folks, I didn't remember negative talk on the forum about e-trailer and have never used them before. the prices are very competitive and talking with customer service was a pleasant experience. I guess companies scaled back during the slow down and now the economy is heating back up (which is a good thing) and have to ramp up production. I'm not complaining, just wanted to know if it was my dumb luck or is this a trend. thanks again.

I too have always had prompt service from e-trailer.

Have you considered an Equal-i-zer? Order today from RVWholesalers and you will likely have it by Wednesday. I am on my second Equal-i-zer and love it.

I've used etrailer many times, and would reccomend them any day. If they can get the hitch you want due to the mfg backorder, its not their fault.

Their pricing is very competitive and customer service is top notch.

Not connected to E Trailer in any way, but have always received orders in a very timely fashion. When I ordered my dual cam hitch very late on the Internet one night I realized I ordered the wrong one. Called the next morning to change the order and they had already shipped the hitch. They did a turn around on the shipment and sent me the one I really wanted. Didn't charge me for the return freight . Not use to that kind of customer service anymore.

On May 4th. I ordered the inner and outer Link Plates for my hitch through e-Trailer and just yesterday received an email from e-Trailer informing me that they are currently in production for our distribution facility and they should have them on hand ready to ship the week of May 20th. Seems that more and more companies are not keeping stock on hand because of cost so they order the parts from the manufacture when an order is placed. Don't you just love it..... :S
