I disagree. The Eco will be operationally cheaper, a nicer drive, better ride, handling and braking, and quicker, while still being reasonable to buy, insure and park. And completely adequate as a TV and a DD.
I suppose some folks buy the biggest hammer on the shelf, and tolerate all its shortcomings, others prefer a tool that suits the task.
I am in the latter category.
Otherwise, why not just cut the******and buy an F450, bigger is better, right?
The OP is towing bigger than 6K, so I am not suggesting that his vehicle is anything less than ideal for his situation. For a 9K trailer, strictly for towing, an F150 is not going to match a 250 in any aspect.
