So I bought a 12V because it's the right tool for the job.The Eco will be operationally cheaper, a nicer drive, better ride, handling and braking, and quicker, while still being reasonable to buy, insure and park. And completely adequate as a TV and a DD.
I suppose some folks buy the biggest hammer on the shelf, and tolerate all its shortcomings, others prefer a tool that suits the task. I am in the latter category.
Same with my truck. I've never needed to tow 15k up a mountain, but I do need to drive it every day. So I went with a 1/2 ton gasser because it's the right tool for the job.
It still amazes me how grown men get into pissing contests about having the biggest and fastest. Didn't we get over that in high school?
