Did you take a look at the 19ERD model? If so, what made you choose the 19RBS?

Looks like something I would like. I'm not sure of the Televisions location but, that would be easily remedied if it didn't work out there. I don't watch much Television when camping anyway.

@gemsworld. Yes, we did also look at the 19ERD. It truly was between those two and was a hard decision to make. In the end it simply came down to personal preferences. They both have about the same amount of storage space but the RBS has more counter space (which is important to us). The ERD has a tub which would have been nice for our granddaughter but not a big deal. I didn't like the location of the TV in the ERD and the bathroom door was both a plus and a minus for me. It can divide off the bathroom from the living space but, if someone were taking a shower you might not have access to something in the front or, if someone was sleeping and you needed to shower (etc...).

@CavemanCharlie. The TV is on a swivel arm mount and can be positioned to view from just about anywhere (even the toilet! LOL!:) and we will place things in the cabinet behind it that are not used daily. The mount and TV are also removable with a slide in bracket and can be stored or placed on another bracket outside for viewing there. I'm with you though, I don't plan to watch much TV while camping.

I will post pictures when I get a chance. I know, from my research, there is not a lot of information out there on these so, if anyone has any questions about it I will do my best to answer them. IMO, a great option for a truly lightweight travel trailer.

Watch your weight, and dont use a WDH! This will put more weight on the trailer axle and you may find yourself with the dreaded axle issue. They claim to have new higher rated axles on the 2013's, but the weights are still too close to the axle rating IMO. Hit the scale when fully loaded to double check things.

I think your axle numbers are not quite right. Our 2010 Visa 19ERD has a 3500lb Lippert Axle, and I understand that starting with units manufactured sometime after Feb 2013, the axle went to 4000lbs, the tires increased one size, and the unit was lifted about 4". Those are good changes - we have 3" lift tubes installed in our Visa - got tired of dragging our tail over speed bumps, driveways.
Our tires has been wearing OK unlike some owners - hope yours do OK.
We haven't put a TV in yet - hope to see pictures on that swivel TV mount mentioned in this topic - the walls are so thin I'm concerned how to attach the mount.

@RinconVTR, WDH is a must. I have an E2. The "dreaded axle issue" is supposed to be resolved in the 2014 models. I will still be keeping an eye on my tires. So far over 600 miles and no wear (knock on wood).

You are correct, the axle on mine is a GAWR 4000# axle.



And yes, the ground clearance is more (possibly 4"). I will try to snap a picture of the TV mount and arm for you as soon as we get back. AGAIN!!! LOL! It's attached to a cabinet in ours, not a wall.
